"Giprocvetmet" JSC was selected as the general designer for the development of a set of project documentation, technical design, working documentation, BIM production and GMIS modeling, development of integrated solutions for the automation of the project "Integrated development of the Komsomolsky mine". The project provides for the maintenance of the retirement and development of new production capacities of the mineral and raw material base of PJSC "MMP" Norilsk Nickel" by involving disseminated ores in the "Komsomolsky" mine field that were not previously covered by design decisions, with an increase in the total productivity of the "Komsomolsky" mine up to 6 million tons per year by 2030.

The "Komsomolsky" mine is one of the largest and most promising mining enterprises of the Polar Division of "MMP Norilsk Nickel". The current annual ore production is 4.2 million tons per year. Currently, the development of reserves of rich sulfide copper-nickel ores is almost complete, the mine is mining the remaining reserves of rich ores on the flanks of the mine field, cuprous and disseminated ores. The implementation of the project will allow the company to conduct production until 2100.
