The parties agreed to conduct joint scientific-research projects, as well as to involve university students in the design of mining and metallurgical enterprises.
The agreement was signed at the international scientific conference on the topic "Problems, solutions and perspectives for the development of the Vanyukov process", which took place recently in Uzbekistan at the site of the newly opened branch of NUST "MISIS".
The parties agreed to conduct joint scientific-research, development and technological work (Research and Development) for the needs of industrial enterprises of the mining and metallurgical industries of Russian Federation and CIS countries.
Another important area of cooperation of the parties is the involvement of students, graduate students and professors from NUST "MISIS" to perform scientific tasks in the design of mining and metallurgical enterprises at the JSC "Giprotsvetmet", throughout internships and work practices. "This will provide an opportunity for future specialists to obtain the necessary work experience, with the purpose of further employment," the company noted. "Giprotsvetmet" employees will also have the possibility to attend specific classes for professional advancement at the university.
There are also plans on opening joint research and design centers in Moscow and in the city of Almalyk (Republic of Uzbekistan) to solve problems in geology, mining, processing and metallurgy.
