Giprotsvetmet participated in the international scientific-practical conference in Almalyk
Exhibition center "Crocus Expo" (Moscow) held the 23rd international trade "Mining World Russia 2019". More than 400 companies from 29 countries participated in the event.
More than 64 companies and more than 100 scientists and leading specialist from Russia, Kazakhstan, USA, Germany, Republic of Korea, Finland, France, Great Britain, Norway, Denmark, South Africa, and Uzbekistan participated in the conference. Among Russian representatives, there were 27 scientists and leading specialists from 15 research and development institutes, including delegates from JSC "Giprotsvetmet" and JSC "TOMS-Engineering".
Representatives from JSC "Giprotsvetmet" and JSC "TOMS-Engineering" held a series of meetings with the management of JSC "Almalyk MMC", discussing current projects and prospective development of the deposit "Eshlik-I". They also spoke at the conference with the report "Heap leaching of oxidized copper ores of Kalmakyr of "Almalyk MMC" based on modern copper-heap leaching world projects, as well as other technologies".
This international conference helped JSC "Almalyk MMC" find solutions to develop effective mechanisms to solve operational and establish mutually beneficial and long-term relations between native and foreign scientists.

JSC "Almalyk Mine Metallurgical Combine" (JSC "AMMC") – mine-metallurgical combine in Almalyk in Tashkent region, Republic of Uzbekistan. One of the largest mine-metallurgical combines in Uzbekistan, a producer of about 90% of silver and 20% of gold in Uzbekistan, the largest copper producer in Central Asia. Currently, Giprotsvetmet is a leading engineering company in the mining and metallurgical industry and plans to expand their competences by fulfilling EPC / EPCM contracts.
